Israel has agreed to release 110 Palestinian prisoners, including 30 minors, after initially delaying the exchange. This follows the release of three Israeli and five Thai hostages by Hamas as part of an ongoing Gaza ceasefire. The exchange, which faced temporary suspension due to security concerns, resumed after mediation efforts. Celebrations took place in Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square, while negotiations continue for further releases. So far, over 60 Israeli hostages and 290 Palestinian prisoners have been exchanged, with Israel insisting the ceasefire will not halt its broader military campaign against Hamas.
