Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said the U.S. must choose between military action or accepting what they called a “bad deal” with Iran, after Donald Trump criticized Tehran’s latest peace proposal. Iran reportedly submitted a 14-point plan through Pakistan focused on reopening the Strait of Hormuz, ending the U.S. naval blockade, and permanently ending conflict with Iran and Lebanon. Iranian officials said diplomacy remains possible but warned they are prepared for confrontation, while tensions over the strait, oil prices, and Iran’s worsening economy continue to rise.
