The IOC ended its collaboration with the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the Esports World Cup Foundation for the Olympic Esports Games (originally announced for 2024, then postponed to 2027).
Despite this, the IOC remains committed to the Games and will pursue a new partnership model based on feedback to host the event as soon as possible and better align it with the Olympic Movement
