“Innovative media working industries and opportunities for the youth in new era” event was held in Yangon
In a collaborative effort to bridge educational opportunities with media industry experience, China Media Group Yangon Bureau (CMG) held an informative presentation at Yangon University of Foreign Languages (YUFL) recently. The event aimed to introduce students how the revolution happening in media industry creates opportunity for the youth in this new era. More than a hundred students participated this event.
CMG representatives explained how they are working in Myanmar in association with local and international organizations. They highlighted the diverse opportunities available for students in media development. The CMG Yangon Bureau focuses on youth engagement, media, and cultural exchange. Information sharing about the use of high-end technology, such 5G, AI, AR, data cloud, in current media industry, as well as the prospect of media innovation for youth. Experience shares about the current social media trends in Myanmar and the skills needed to succeed in the professional media industry.
Given that cultural exchange between Myanmar and China is becoming more frequent starting from this year, CMG is looking forward to creating more cultural programs between Myanmar and China. CMG and YUFL are collaborating on creating cultural youth talk show this year. A screen test of this cultural youth talk show program was held in YUFL then. During the event, CMG also expressed their warmly welcome to students to join the short video and article contest called “A memorable trip “မှတ်မိစွဲထင် အမှတ်တရခရီးစဉ်” which is held from July to Sep 2024, and aims to provide a platform for Myanmar students to enhance their media skills. These media cooperation between CMG and YUFL, not only targets on enhancing academic lifestyles of Myanmar students, but also the people-to-people exchange between Myanmar and China.
