India and Pakistan have exchanged lists of their nuclear installations through diplomatic channels, continuing an annual practice under a long-standing bilateral agreement. The exchange was carried out simultaneously in New Delhi and Islamabad, despite strained relations following a brief military flare-up in 2025. The pact, signed in 1988 and in force since 1991, prohibits both countries from attacking each other’s nuclear facilities.
