The International Criminal Court’s member states on Wednesday voted to begin disciplinary proceedings against Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan following two reports of sexual-assault allegations, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Khan, who oversees investigations into war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide, has temporarily stepped aside while an inquiry examines claims of a non-consensual sexual relationship with a lawyer in his office. He denies any wrongdoing.
