Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing is set to pay a state visit to China from June 15 to 19, coinciding with the 76th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The visit is expected to further deepen China-Myanmar ties, with both sides emphasizing their long-standing “pauk-phaw” friendship and commitment to the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. Cooperation is likely to focus on economic development, infrastructure, trade, and security, including efforts to combat cross-border crime.
Officials say the visit will reinforce the China-Myanmar community with a shared future and contribute to broader regional cooperation within ASEAN and the Lancang-Mekong framework.
