Storm Caetano has caused heavy snowfall in western France, leaving around 170,000 households without power, with more outages expected. Over 1,400 workers are repairing the damaged network, but snow and freezing temperatures will continue. The storm has also disrupted travel, with flight cancellations at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport and suspended high-speed train services in affected regions. Meteo-France has issued an Orange alert for 56 departments due to strong winds and snow. Residents are advised to stay cautious, particularly with the risk of black ice.
