Erling Haaland scored as Norway defeated Italy 3-0 in a 2026 World Cup qualifier, marking Norway’s first win over Italy in 25 years. Norway has now won all three games in Group I. Italy, missing several key players and struggling defensively, continued to face pressure after missing the last two World Cups. They risk falling into the playoffs again unless they top the group. Italy next faces Moldova, while Norway will play Estonia.
