The 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics torch relay passed through parts of Greece on Thursday, led by Olympic gymnastics silver medalist Zhang Boheng along with Chinese torchbearers Wang Siyu, Wu Yongbo, and sprinter Chen Yujie. The flame, lit Wednesday in Kalavryta, traveled north to Patras and crossed the Rio–Antirrio Bridge.
Chinese athletes expressed pride and encouragement for their fellow Winter Olympians. After a week-long relay in Greece, the flame will be handed over to Italian organizers in Athens on December 4.
