France says ‘ready’ to defend Gulf countries, Jordan against Iran

France said it is prepared to defend Gulf countries and Jordan against Iran if needed, according to Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot. He emphasized full support and solidarity with nations targeted by Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ missiles and drones, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Jordan.
