Donald Trump was shot in the ear during an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The 78-year-old former president was giving a speech when the gunman, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, opened fire. Trump was quickly taken off stage by Secret Service agents with blood on his face but later confirmed he was “doing well” with no major injuries. The shooter and a bystander were killed, and two spectators were critically injured. World leaders condemned the attack, and the FBI is treating it as an assassination attempt. Trump intends to attend the Republican National Convention despite the incident.
