Foreign ministers from seven countries (Turkey, UAE, Indonesia, Qatar, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan) met in Istanbul to discuss upholding the Gaza ceasefire and planning for the enclave’s future governance.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the host, stated the ministers agreed on the need to maintain the truce and support a two-state solution for lasting peace. He accused Israel of repeatedly violating the ceasefire and blocking humanitarian aid, making enforcement difficult. Turkish President Erdogan also accused Israel of violating the truce, noting that over 200 Palestinians had been killed since the agreement began on October 10.
