At least 10 people have died in Kenya after days of heavy rain caused flash floods across multiple regions, according to authorities.
The Kenya National Police Service said the eastern region was the worst affected, with ongoing rescue efforts still underway. Flooding has damaged homes, displaced communities, and led to the collapse of two major bridges, disrupting transport and supply routes.
Officials have warned residents in high-risk areas to stay alert and avoid floodwaters, as the country continues to face repeated extreme weather events linked to climate change.
