The first batch of aid from the Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) arrived in Mandalay, Myanmar, following the magnitude-7.9 earthquake on March 28. The shipment includes over 4,900 relief items such as tents, blankets, and family kits. The Myanmar Red Cross, with assistance from an RCSC rescue team, is distributing the supplies and setting up shelters. The RCSC also donated 1.5 million yuan ($208,900) in emergency funding and deployed 15 rescuers to assist with search-and-rescue, medical aid, and psychological support.
