Inter Miami and Al Ahly played to a 0-0 draw in the opening match of the first 32-team FIFA Club World Cup at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida. Al Ahly had more chances early on, including a blocked shot and a missed penalty, while Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi hit the crossbar and had a late chance saved. The match marked Miami’s first game without a goal since May but their first clean sheet since April. Next, Inter Miami will face Porto, and Al Ahly will play Palmeiras, who will also meet each other in a separate match.
