In his inauguration speech, Prabowo emphasized addressing internal issues like corruption, poverty, and neglected schools. He pledged to be a president for all Indonesians and committed to Indonesia’s non-aligned foreign policy, while also aiming for a stronger global presence. Prabowo previously visited China and signed a security deal with Australia. He now leads Southeast Asia’s largest economy and the world’s biggest nickel reserves. Security was heightened for the event, with 100,000 personnel deployed in Jakarta.
