An event promoting the fifth volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, bringing together around 300 representatives from government, media, think tanks and other sectors.
Participants said the book provides insights into Chinese modernization, governance and the vision of building a community with a shared future for humanity, while supporting closer cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan. Former Kyrgyz President Roza Otunbayeva and other officials highlighted the role of Belt and Road cooperation and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in strengthening bilateral ties.
During the event, the Chinese side presented Kyrgyz guests with copies of the book in Kyrgyz and Russian, while experts discussed topics including governance, Belt and Road cooperation and regional development.
