Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Türkiye will not develop or continue relations with Israel, citing the suspension of trade since May in response to Israeli attacks on Gaza. Erdogan has condemned these attacks and called for stronger international efforts to protect Palestinian civilians. Supporting Palestinians remains a key focus of Türkiye’s foreign policy.
