Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have called on all parties to uphold the Gaza ceasefire and advance a U.S.-supported peace plan, amid concerns that rising tensions, including those involving Iran, could expand the regional conflict.
The two leaders stressed the need for uninterrupted humanitarian aid to Gaza and faster reconstruction, firmly rejecting any forced displacement of Palestinians and reaffirming that a negotiated two-state solution is the only viable path to lasting peace.
They also discussed broader regional and international issues, emphasizing de-escalation, dialogue and stronger Arab coordination while respecting national sovereignty. Both sides pledged to deepen Egypt-Saudi ties and maintain close political coordination to support regional stability.
