Israel will also establish an embassy in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This move aligns with Israel’s desire to have all embassies in Jerusalem, but most countries maintain diplomatic representation in Tel Aviv due to the ongoing dispute over Jerusalem’s status, with Palestinians seeking its eastern sector as the capital of their independent state.
