The 18th China Changchun Film Festival (CCFF) began on August 28 with notable Chinese filmmakers and celebrities present at the opening ceremony. The festival will present ten awards, including best film, director, actor, actress, and screenplay. The judging panel, led by filmmaker Huang Jianxin, features prominent figures from the industry. The festival includes 15 films competing for the best film award, like “The Wandering Earth II” and “Full River Red.” Beyond cinema screenings, there are outdoor projections and free viewings. The event aims to enhance collaboration between the film industry and cultural and tourism organizations. The festival will continue until September 2.
