The fourth China (Anhui) Science and Technology Innovation Achievement Transformation Fair opened on Sunday in Hefei, Anhui Province, bringing together participants focused on scientific research, industrial development, and technology commercialization.
At the opening ceremony, China Media Group (CMG) launched the 2026 China Science and Technology Innovation Gala, one of its major science communication programs. The gala is produced by CMG’s Social Education Program Center in collaboration with its Anhui branch and jointly organized with Hefei city authorities.
According to organizers, the gala will highlight key technological breakthroughs of the year and combine science with artistic presentation, aiming to promote public engagement with innovation and support the transition of research results into industrial applications.
The launch also marked the start of a global recruitment campaign titled “I Want to Be on the Gala,” inviting innovators and researchers worldwide to take part. The initiative is intended to connect media platforms with scientific institutions and enterprises to encourage technology transfer, investment, and talent development.
