Chinese Vice President Han Zheng expressed China’s commitment to collaborating with Arab and Islamic nations in advancing the implementation of UN resolutions on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict during a meeting with a delegation of foreign ministers from these regions. The delegation, led by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, included representatives from Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Indonesia, and the secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. China, holding the UN Security Council presidency, pledged to work towards a ceasefire, alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and support a return to the two-state solution. The delegation appreciated China’s leadership and hoped to cooperate in achieving an immediate ceasefire, increasing humanitarian aid, and implementing the two-state solution.
