Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng said China and South Korea should strengthen economic ties and expand win-win cooperation while attending a China–ROK business forum in Beijing with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung.
He Lifeng said that guided by the consensus reached by the two leaders, both countries should upgrade economic and trade cooperation and create new opportunities for mutually beneficial development. He added that China will continue to expand high-level opening-up and welcomes South Korean companies to invest and do business in China.
President Lee said cooperation between the two countries has deepened in recent years and that South Korea is willing to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation to benefit both peoples.
The forum was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with about 400 government and business representatives from both countries attending.
