Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu visited the United States from July 22 to 23 for talks with senior US officials and lawmakers, including Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau and White House National Security Council official Ivan Kanapathy. The discussions focused on implementing agreements reached by the Chinese and US leaders and promoting a constructive relationship of strategic stability between China and the United States.
