Chinese researchers have developed a new display technology, called EyeReal, that creates glasses-free 3D visuals on desktop-sized screens. Published in Nature, the system uses AI to track eye movements and dynamically optimize images across a stack of three standard LCD panels. This allows viewers to see immersive 3D effects naturally while moving around, with a 100-degree field of view, full HD resolution (1920×1080), and refresh rates above 50 fps. Previously, such effects were limited to small screens or narrow viewing angles. Researchers suggest the technology could be applied in education, 3D design, and virtual reality.
