Chinese rescue teams are working urgently to save lives in central Myanmar after the devastating magnitude-7.9 earthquake. The death toll has risen to 2,886, with 4,639 injured and 373 still missing. In Mandalay, China Hong Kong’s rescue team is using drones and life detectors to locate survivors in the collapsed Sky Villa apartment. The China International Search and Rescue Team (CISAR) has deployed advanced tools like snake-eye life detectors and endoscopes, successfully rescuing three survivors. CISAR also brought an earthquake response vehicle equipped with 369 specialized tools to improve efficiency in search-and-rescue operations.
