Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit of Dominica held discussions in Beijing, marking the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between their countries. Li emphasized the mutual respect and equality defining their two-decade relationship, highlighting substantial progress and fruitful cooperation as a model for mutual benefit among nations. China pledged continued support for Dominica’s sovereignty, independence, and development path, offering cooperation in infrastructure, agriculture, trade, and Belt and Road initiatives. Both sides expressed willingness to strengthen communication, expand cooperation, address climate change, and build a community with a shared future. They witnessed the signing of several cooperation agreements spanning Belt and Road construction, agriculture, green development, infrastructure, and global development initiatives.
