Chinese Premier Li Qiang urged countries to keep markets open and avoid turning economic issues into political or security matters. Speaking with leaders of major global financial organizations in Beijing, he said the world economy is unstable and needs stronger global economic governance.
Li emphasized that openness and cooperation are key to growth, stable supply chains, and technological progress. He said China will keep expanding its opening-up and welcomes more foreign businesses.
International economic leaders praised China’s steady growth and said its upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan will support global development. They expressed readiness to deepen cooperation with China in trade, green development, AI, financial stability, and other areas.
