Chinese Premier Li Qiang met Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin in Beijing, saying China is ready to deepen bilateral ties and expand mutually beneficial cooperation. Both sides highlighted strong economic complementarity and agreed to boost cooperation in trade, green energy, digital economy, AI and people-to-people exchanges. Ireland reaffirmed its commitment to the partnership, welcomed Chinese investment, and said it would support stronger China-EU cooperation and multilateralism.
