China’s film market generated 5.75 billion yuan (about $830 million) during the nine-day Chinese Spring Festival holiday, according to the China Film Administration. Leading the box office was Pegasus 3, the latest installment in director Han Han’s popular racing comedy franchise, which also held its North American premiere in Los Angeles over the weekend.
