Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun met with the SCO secretary-general and defense ministers from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and India in Qingdao during the SCO Defense Ministers’ Meeting. Dong emphasized the SCO’s role in promoting true multilateralism and global stability. He urged joint efforts against unilateralism, protectionism, and hegemonic behavior. China expressed readiness to strengthen defense cooperation with SCO members. The attendees also affirmed their commitment to enhancing security collaboration to support regional and global stability and development.
