The 2025 Euro-Asia Economic Forum will be held in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, from September 23 to 25 under the theme “Unleashing New Synergies in Eurasia, Co-Building a New Pattern for Sustainable Development.” The forum will highlight China’s modernization achievements, strengthen Eurasian cooperation, and promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges.
This year’s program includes 13 sub-forums on topics such as industrial cooperation, technological innovation, cultural exchange, and governance, along with more than 10 trade and economic activities. A white paper on the Eurasian economy under the Belt and Road Initiative will also be released.
Delegates from Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) members, observers, and partners—as well as officials, diplomats, business leaders, and scholars from across Eurasia—are expected to attend. Established in 2005, the biennial forum is now in its 11th edition, co-organized by the Shaanxi provincial government, SCO Secretariat, Chinese financial institutions, and academic bodies.
