The third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) concluded in Beijing on Sunday, achieving over 6,000 cooperation agreements and partnership intentions. The five-day event, hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), featured 1,200 exhibitors from China and abroad and attracted more than 210,000 attendees both online and in person, a 5% increase from the previous year. The expo facilitated 24,000 matchmaking sessions—four times more than last year—and showcased 152 new products, technologies, and services, marking a 67% year-on-year growth.
International exhibitors made up 35% of participants, up from 26% at the inaugural event, with over 65% representing Global Fortune 500 or leading companies. The number of participating countries and regions grew from 55 to 75, including strong representation from the US, EU, and Japan. CCPIT Vice-Chairman Li Xingqian highlighted the expo’s role in fostering long-term partnerships and showcasing China’s critical position in global supply chains, emphasizing that connecting to China is essential for global integration.
Looking ahead, 102 companies and institutions have already registered for the next CISCE, a 50% increase from last year’s exhibitors.
