China’s 2026 summer box office has surpassed 8.5 billion yuan, with daily earnings staying above 100 million yuan for 30 straight days. Kung Fu Soccer leads with around 2.2 billion yuan, followed by All Wishes Come True and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The three films account for nearly 60 percent of the season’s total box office. Meanwhile, average ticket prices have fallen to 39.6 yuan, with government subsidies also helping make moviegoing more affordable.
