China marked its 11th Space Day with events in Chengdu, highlighting the country’s growing achievements in space exploration.
The program, led by the China National Space Administration, has advanced rapidly since the launch of Dongfanghong-1 in 1970, which made China the fifth nation to independently send a satellite into orbit.
In 2025, China set a record with 92 orbital launches and continued progress on projects like the Tiangong space station and missions such as Tianwen-2.
Looking ahead, China plans major milestones including the Tianwen-3 in 2028 and a crewed moon landing by 2030, signaling an ambitious future in global space exploration.
