League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) will be held in Chengdu, China, from May 1 to 19. Riot Games has not disclosed the competition format. The event follows the Spring Season, starting on January 22 for China’s League of Legends Pro League (LPL) and January 17 for Korea’s League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK). The MSI and Spring Season performances determine teams for the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds). A new connection between MSI and Worlds awards the MSI champion a direct Worlds qualification, and the second-best-performing league earns an extra Worlds berth. Worlds 2024 is scheduled for London from September 25 to November 2. In the 2023 edition, T1 from South Korea’s LCK won the championship.
