China’s 15th National Games concluded in Shenzhen with an open-air seaside ceremony featuring top athletes like Su Bingtian and Ma Long. The gala showcased cutting-edge tech such as 3D displays, smart wearables, and driverless systems, highlighting Shenzhen’s tech leadership.
Co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, the Games included 34 sports and set multiple records: 8 world, 5 world youth, 13 Asian, and 14 national records. Athletes in 12 events even surpassed Paris Olympic winning performances, reflecting China’s rising global sports competitiveness.
