China welcomed the Netherlands’ decision to suspend an order targeting Nexperia, the Chinese-owned semiconductor firm, calling it a positive first step but saying it still doesn’t solve the problem. China argued the order and a Dutch ruling that removed Wingtech’s control over Nexperia are the real causes of disruption in the global chip supply chain. Both countries agreed to reduce government interference and let the companies settle disputes legally, but China urged the Netherlands to fully revoke the order and offer more constructive solutions.
