Chinese Premier Li Qiang expressed China’s commitment to strengthening communication and cooperation with Iran in various international forums, including the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and BRICS. He emphasized the enduring and progressing bilateral relations between China and Iran over the past 50 years, citing important consensuses reached between Presidents Xi Jinping and Ebrahim Raisi. Li affirmed China’s support for Iran’s sovereignty and opposition to external interference. He called for the implementation of comprehensive cooperation plans, promotion of Belt and Road initiatives, and increased exchanges in education, culture, tourism, and think tanks. Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber expressed appreciation for China’s partnership and willingness to deepen relations, particularly through Belt and Road cooperation and multilateral coordination.
