China is preparing a third batch of emergency relief supplies—including Bailey bridges, mortuary cabinets, epidemic prevention supplies, and communications equipment—along with a second team of DNA identification experts to assist Nepal, following the arrival of a second aid shipment in Kathmandu. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun noted that China is closely collaborating with Nepal to search for nearly 100 missing Chinese nationals and evacuate affected individuals. Meanwhile, China has briefed foreign embassies regarding 261 foreign nationals from 23 countries who remain missing following the recent mudslide disaster in Gyirong County, Xizang Autonomous Region.
