China makes progress in restoring communications after mudslide hits border port in Xizang

A powerful mudslide hit Gyirong Port in southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region, killing three people and leaving 558 missing. Roads, power and communications were cut off, but authorities have restored some telecom services, including 5G roaming.
