A celebratory concert marking the 105th anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Monday evening, attended by top Chinese leaders including Xi Jinping, Li Qiang and other members of the Party leadership.
The performance, titled “Putting the People First,” featured five thematic segments highlighting key stages of China’s modern history, from revolutionary struggles and military-civilian unity to socialist development, reform and opening-up, and recent national achievements.
Around 3,000 attendees watched the event, which also included foreign experts working in China. The concert concluded with the audience collectively singing “Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China.”
