China has officially launched a new program to boost scientific cooperation with the European Union. The “China-EU Young Scientists Exchange Program” aims to strengthen ties by enabling young researchers from both regions to participate in exchanges.
The initiative marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the EU. China’s Science and Technology Minister, Yin Hejun, stated the program will “construct bridges of trust, cooperation and friendship.” It will support young European scientists conducting research in Chinese institutions.
