China hit their stride from three-point range, with Luo Xin hitting consecutive triples and Yang Shuyu adding another to take an early 19-10 lead. Zhang Ziyu controlled the paint, helping China lead 46-36 at halftime.
Wang came off the bench to score 12 points in the third quarter, sparking a 22-6 run that extended the lead to 21 points. Despite a late rally from South Sudan, China held on, with five players finishing in double digits.
