The 2025 China-Central Asia Media Cooperation Forum took place on Thursday in Astana, Kazakhstan, focusing on building a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future. Kazakh President Tokayev sent a congratulatory letter, praising China’s Belt and Road Initiative and highlighting Kazakhstan’s commitment to strong ties with China.
Participants emphasized the role of media in deepening cooperation and promoting mutual understanding between China and Central Asian countries. The forum was co-hosted by China’s People’s Daily and Kazakhstan’s Presidential Radio and Television Administration, with over 200 attendees, including media professionals, officials, and scholars.
Key events included the launch of a photo exhibition and a joint media interview project focused on Belt and Road cooperation.
