China has expressed its readiness to strengthen public security and law enforcement cooperation with the five Central Asian countries. At a ministerial meeting in Beijing, Public Security Minister Wang Xiaohong called for closer collaboration in combating terrorism, separatism and extremism, as well as transnational crime and immigration-related issues.
The countries also agreed to improve security cooperation, protect major Belt and Road projects and strengthen law enforcement capabilities. Central Asian representatives expressed support for deeper cooperation to promote long-term security and prosperity across the region. Credit : CGTN
