On July 30th, 2025, the National Management Degree College (NMDC) in Yangon hosted a career fair attended by over 40 companies, including MI Radio. The event aimed to connect students with potential employers and internship opportunities across various industries.
The fair began with an opening speech by the college principal, Dr. Khin Thida Nyein. She introduced the key departments at NMDC, including Business Management, English for Professional Purposes, Journalism, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Economics and Finance. She also highlighted the fair’s purpose in helping students explore career paths and gain real-world experience. Third and fourth-year students were especially encouraged to apply for internships with participating companies.
Representatives from companies such as AYA Bank, Win Brothers Group of Companies Limited, MOB, and UAB each gave five-minute presentations about their organizations, outlining their missions, goals, and visions.
MI Radio joined the fair with multiple openings, including positions for radio hosts, podcasters, assistant program staff, media assistants, and other roles in the broadcasting field.
To conclude the event, a brief ceremony was held to recognize contributions. Companies that donated funds to support the fair received certificates of appreciation, while other participants, including MI Radio, were awarded certificates of participation.
The career fair provided an important platform for students to engage with employers and take meaningful steps toward their future careers.
