Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has launched a new national artificial intelligence strategy called “AI for All,” aimed at significantly expanding the country’s AI economy and workforce.
The plan targets nearly 200 billion Canadian dollars in economic growth and the creation of 250,000 AI-related jobs over the next five years. It also seeks to raise AI adoption across Canada to 60% by 2034, while introducing nationwide AI literacy programs, expanding training opportunities, and investing in a domestic AI supercomputer and computing infrastructure.
